Indian Programmers Create Twitter's Alternative named 'Koo'

India's Twitter rival Koo app has won the title of PM Modi's self-reliant App Challenge.  Koo (Ku) app has been selected in the social media category.  To compete with Twitter, India created its first microblogging platform Koo (Ku) app where Indians can share their ideas, opinions, thoughts and news with people and can also add people.  There is a medium which has been the people of all the small cities and towns of India where the people of India do not know English but want to talk about the particular news / movement and issues around them so that India  Attract the attention of the leaders on all those issues and uplift the public.

Self-Reliant App Challenge

Ministry of IT and Technology (MeitY) in partnership with Atal Innovation Mission - Niti Aayog has launched the Digital India Self-Reliant India Innovation Challenge to identify the best Indian apps that are already being used by citizens and among them  It has the potential to go up to the world level in its respective categories.  This innovation challenge seeks to create an ecosystem where Indian entrepreneurs and startups are encouraged to move from conceptual to sustainable technology solutions that serve citizens not only in India but around the world  .  This is the mantra of Make in India in India and for the world.

Kuo app will add people in mother language

Kuo app launched in 2020, available in four Indian languages

Ku is India's micro-blogging platform in Indian languages.  Koo was launched in March 2020 and is now available in 4 Indian languages ​​- Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.  Only 10% of India understands English.  The remaining 90% speak 100+ Indian languages.  They do not have a platform suited to the Indian language to speak their mind and express themselves.  Koo is a micro-blogging platform that enables Indians to express themselves in their mother tongue.

Koo also invites some of the most prominent personalities in India so that users can follow them and their views.  Koo was launched just 5 months ago and Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shri Sadguru, Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath, Dr. Ashwath Narayan (Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka), Deputy Commissioner of Karnataka, MP Tejaswi Surya, Ashutosh Rana, Ashish Vidyarthi  And many other politicians, IAS officers, actors, actresses and sports celebrities have used it to keep in touch with their followers.
